The Geiger counter that maps radiation in 3D

See radiation.
Find where it's coming from.

Radspotter is a pocket-sized Geiger counter that pairs with your phone and maps radiation in 3D — so you don't just get a number, you can walk straight to the source.

A reading tells you how much.
Radspotter tells you where.

Every other counter hands you a number and leaves you waving a box around, guessing if you're getting warmer. Radspotter watches how that number changes as you move and turns it into a live 3D map — hot spots glowing exactly where they are, right on your camera.

How it works

From a number to a map, in three steps.

1

Pair

Power on and Radspotter connects to your phone over Bluetooth in seconds. No WiFi, no account to get started.

2

Sweep

Hold it beside your phone and walk the space. Readings climb as you close in, and the app paints them into a live 3D map.

3

Find it

Follow the heat to the source, then save or share the map from the Jovian cloud.

Why Radspotter

More than a beep and a number.

See it in 3D

AR mapping overlays live radiation on your camera, so an invisible source becomes something you can see and walk toward.

Locate it, room by room

Readings are pinned to where you took them, so the map shows exactly where levels climb — follow the gradient and it leads you to the source.

Alerts you won't miss

Cross above background and Radspotter warns you right away: the reading spikes on your phone with sound and haptics, and the device LED flashes.

Numbers you can trust

Radspotter shows you exactly what it detects — no smoothing, no inflated readings. What you see is real.

Thin by design

No screen, no bulk. Your phone does the display, mapping, history, and alerts — so the device stays light, rugged, and affordable.

Gets better after you buy it

The intelligence lives in the app, and updates arrive automatically. Radspotter keeps improving — no new hardware, nothing to think about.

One device, two modes

Find it. Or watch it around the clock.

Spot mode

In your hand — hunt down a source in 3D with your phone, and follow the readings straight to it.

Monitor mode

Set it down and Radspotter keeps watch 24/7 — logging every reading and alerting your phone the moment something changes, even while you're away.

Your readings, wherever you are

Nearby

Streams live to your phone.

Away

Syncs to the cloud, so you can check in from anywhere.

Offline

Keeps logging on the device and catches your app up next time you connect.

Runs on its rechargeable battery, or leave it powered over USB-C for always-on monitoring.

FAQ

Good questions.

Does it need WiFi?

No — everything runs over Bluetooth with your phone. WiFi is optional, just for syncing maps to the cloud.

Can it tell how strong a source is?

It shows relative intensity — readings climb as you close in, and the 3D map shows where they were highest. It's not a calibrated lab assay — think find and compare, not weigh.

Can I leave it running as a monitor?

Yes — Radspotter runs around the clock on its rechargeable battery or over USB-C. In Monitor mode it logs continuously and syncs to your app and the cloud, so you can check radiation at a spot over hours or days, not just seconds.

Is it a certified dosimeter?

No — Radspotter is built for detection, education, and source-finding, not regulatory dose measurement.

What does it detect?

Gamma and beta radiation, via a Geiger–Müller tube.

Do I need an account?

Not to start. Pair and go; add a Jovian cloud account only if you want to save and sync maps.

Be the first to see what's around you.
